Not Buying Anything From Dell Again.
Here it is a pic of the new one. Bought parts online and built in a few hours.
I just installed the service pack 3 for xp. My laptop restarted and seems to working fine. Bless Microsoft maybe they did something right for a change. Now if i can just restart again it will be just fine.
Well the day has come. Last weekend i Finished the new computer out of a few old dell parts and some new ones from Newegg.
Xion Case with a 450w PS. 4 GB of Crucial Ballistix Ram. Nvidia 7300 LE 128mb Graphics Card.
3 hard drives (1 320gb, 2 250gb),
I reused the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor.
1 120mm Green intake fan, 1 120mm Exhaust Fan, 1 80mm Side intake fan, 1 Blue Heatsink Fan.
On a Asus P5K Pro Board.

Just a few more sata cables and be good to go.
I have purchased new parts from an online retailer. I am goin to build a new one out of parts from the old one. I am looking forward to it and will post info on it at a later time.
Come to find out the motherboard they use in the e520 is about junk anyway. Did some looking around and found that out. It bit the dust about two weeks before the warranty expired so i called dell and they worked with me. The tech said do this, do that, unplug this, plug that in, needless to say it didnt work. Spent two days messing with it and numerous phone calls. I had to out of town and wasnt goin to be back for a couple of weeks. I quit messing with it and left, came home four weeks later.
I started fooling with it again so i called dell for help again. Two weeks after the warranty expired they wanted me to pay for a tech support service like 80 bucks. spent an hour arguing with them on the phone cause it was an ongoing issue. They didnt help and it was there faulty equipment use not mine. Long story short i was tired of arguing with someone that didnt speak english very well and didnt understand the concept of a person who travels for work.
My perspective on Dell is SCREW YOU!! Not gonna buy anything from you again…
I’m kinda mad today. Just realized that my spare battery went to hell. Probably costs 120 dollars(USD). Oh well just a spare maybe i should changed them out every once in awhile. Used it twice for about three hours total in the last year and a half at the most.
