Very Funny
The law was passed with flying colors to end the cross border trucking program. But the Department of Transportation has extended for two years disregarding the law and the congress. I belive they should cut funding to force them to end it now and do it now.
Today the Senate voted and passed a law that will end the cross border trucks program. The bill was passed to end the program on the one year anniversary of the program. It requires in the future that all company’s wanting to travel passed authorized zones will require the permission of the senate.
Its a very good thing for the transportation communitty.
Well they seized another truck down in southern California with over 60 illegal immigrants from Mexico. When President Bush started allowing Mexican trucks into the USA i knew it was a bad idea. I said it just means more trucks trying to smuggle illegal aliens across and big trucks that don’t meet or exceed our standards. My biggest concern was the fact that we would let Mexican trucks through the border and then we have empty trucks along state and interstate highways. Although this hasn’t been the case but i think there has been a increase in illegal transport of illegal aliens across the border. I have no problem with immigrants coming to the USA but my problem is there is so many people here that went through the system and they need to too.
How many times do you need to get deported to realize hey lets do this the legal way. I guess not.
