The Build in the end…

Well its finally done.  I spent alot of time working on it to get it done.  There’s still a few things i need to fix but if you can’t tell from the second video, then I’m not going to tell you. Here is what the system ended up being.

Here is a list of parts that i salvaged from my old Dell Dimension E520.

Xion II w/450w PS

Thermaltake Blue Orb II CPU Heat Sink

320GB Seagate Barracuda HD

4 GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer Ram

2- 120mm intake and exhaust fan, 1- 80mm intake fan

Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Sound Card

Parts I got from a friend to Finish it off:

2 Blue cold cathode tube neons

Now that its done I really want to build another one. I’m in the process of looking at parts and doing some research. I plan to build a smaller system for just normal everyday use. E-mail and internet pretty much.  And a Larger system for a dedicated Gaming rig. Just looking at parts right now, hopefully soon i will have time to do another.

New Computer is Built

Well the day has come.  Last weekend i Finished the new computer out of a few old dell parts and some new ones from Newegg.

Xion Case with a 450w PS. 4 GB of Crucial Ballistix Ram. Nvidia 7300 LE 128mb Graphics Card.

3 hard drives (1 320gb, 2 250gb),

I reused the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor.

1 120mm Green intake fan, 1 120mm Exhaust Fan, 1 80mm Side intake fan, 1 Blue Heatsink Fan.

On a Asus P5K Pro Board.

Not Buying Anything From Dell Again.

Just a few more sata cables and be good to go.
